UPDATES to the printed map
I'll use this page to publish additional updates that are significant. At least you will know about changes in advance. These updates are one's that I've found out about after the map was published.
01 November 2008 - Pleasure Island has more-or-less shut now. Disney are making the whole area more Family orientated. There are new developments starting for Flamingo Crossings (near 429 & Western Way), and the Four Seasons Resort and Golf Course. The LOOP shopping centre has expanded. Obviously there are quite a few hotel and restaurant changes, but these go on all the time and are only considered to be minor changes.
A big change coming - I've been offered a re-print (with minor revisions) on Plastic Paper :-) It's much lighter in weight but because it's printing on polyester paper, the new maps will be tearproof and waterproof.
02 June 2008 - The Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary Hotel Resort has been replaced by The Wave restaurant. There is quite a lot of new development going on around the junction of Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road (more info to follow soon).
11 April 2008 - The new 3rd edition is now ready. I'm not aware of any significant changes at the moment.
Another warning about mobile speed cameras - the local police are using these more frequently now . . keep your speed down. Especially if using the Sherberth Road short-cut from 192.
The digital map database has been changed accordingly.
