Bubble Guppies embark on rockin’ exhibition
Hope the kids are ready to rock.
The Bubble Guppies certainly are, but first they’ll have to find a key member of the band who’s mysteriously gone missing.
That’s the story line the preschooler television stars will bring for their stage show Bubble Guppies Live! Ready to Rock at Centennial Hall Friday.
The Emmy-winning show’s theatrical version is the creation of the original writers of the series, Jonny Belt and Robert Skull, with the same endearing characters.
The giggly Molly and Gil and the rest of the gang will get help from Mr. Grouper to find their missing band mate.
According to a press release, they’ll “embark on a musical expedition as they search every corner of their bubbly world for their friend. … The Bubble Guppies will have to leave no stone left unturned and no bubble left un-popped in order to get the show on the road.”
The show features music with lots of laughs and audience participation.
The Bubble Guppies television show teaches kids about a wide range of topics — from dinosaurs to dentists, rock and roll to recycling, and colours to cowboys — led by Molly, Gil and their classmates through playful investigation.
